I absolutely loved this book which continues from where the first book left off. “You Knew”. I loved this story line and everything about it. The author has a wonderful knack for grabbing your attention, having you fall in love with their characters and pulling you through their story like you are a friend and belong with the characters. This book was no exception as we find Sebastian now the King Regent, waiting to take the crown after his father’s untimely and suspicious death, not that he wanted the crown, but it is his now and he must live up to his responsibilities. But where does that leave him and Penny (Len), now that they are back home in the palace and he is taking over his role as King and Penny is now back in her role as a Royal Guard. Things are iffy with these two at best, considering she is a commoner and he is of royal blood. They can’t be together, even if all they want is to be together. But things are amiss, someone killed the former King and it is up to Penny’s father to help find out what happened to his old friend and Sebastian’s father. There is excitement, intrigue, lust, love, heartbreak, sorrow and total joy all rolled into this fabulous story.

The characters are wonderfully written and extremely well defined. Sebastian is hot, charming and is now the king. Penny is sweet, caring, beautiful and is one of the king’s royal guards, but these two are in love and have been since they were both in New York living a free life, doing what the both love doing, until the news came that his father was dead. The King is dead, long live the King.

An amazing book and I highly recommend not only this one but you really have to read the first to know what’s going on in this one, so enjoy both of them back to back!!! Great reads!!!
