    Synopsis for Wrecker

    Slater “Savage” Harlow

I’ve got almost everything I need to have an amazing comeback year. My knee is good, my dedication is there, my determination never left, but the woman of my dreams? That’s still up in the air.

    Malone Fulcher

Savage walked away without so much as listening to what I had to say.

We have a decision to make. Is it going to be marriage with late nights, dinners at one am, and stealing moments between road trips? Or will it be spending the rest of our lives alone, wondering why we couldn’t make it work?

Read the stunning conclusion to The MVP Duet.

    Review By Barbara

Absolutely loved this duet. Ms Briscoe has written a wonderful conclusion to Malone and Slater’s story. Considering the Cliffie at the end of part one, I was fearful for Book 2. After these high school sweethearts lost 10 years of life together and had finally reconnected it seemed like history was going to repeat itself. But would it? Or would one of them take the first step and get their life on the right track this time.

On a personal level, we deal with Slater’s return to baseball. Has his knee held? Will he return to the field being the MVP he once was or will he be regaled to the bench and coaching the younger players? As for Malone, will she return to her former career or will she be able to convince Slater that being his wife is what she wants and she can deal with anything that’s thrown their way?

I loved this duet. It charm and heartwarming tenderness will leaving you smiling. Even the rough patches in their relationship will have you secretly grinning as you await the outcome. 2 Thumbs Up for this amazing duet. One I high recommend grabbing up, you’ll be very happy you did so.

    Review By Kathy

Let me start off my saying that the entire time I was reading this book I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. I just knew something horrible was going to happen, something heartbreaking, something that would thoroughly piss me off….but it didn’t. (I think that was because of the cliffie that was at the end of the first book). Oh not to say that there weren’t a couple of little bumps along the way, but this story was just as wonderfully enjoyable as it could be. From the first page, you step right into this couple’s life and just keep running with them as they learn how to be “them” in this new city (for her), this new lifestyle (again..for her), and being together always (for both of them). Being with the MVP of the last season’s baseball season, Marloe has a lot to learn, but luckily she meets some of the newer baseball wives who help her navigate the road she finds herself on. The two kids that broke up, found each other again, are now on the most important journey of their lives and learning the plays as they go.

I absolutely loved this story and it’s heartwarming beauty of what a love that is meant to be is truly like. As you turn the pages you find yourself in a front-row seat to the lives of Savage and Marloe as they figure out what it will take beyond their personal feelings for each other, to make this thing between them, work. I loved these characters and loved to see the characters from the Moonlight Taskforce a bit, especially Caleb’s sister who has a huge crush on Savage!! She’s so cute!

This is definitely one duet that you should not let slip by you!! I highly recommend this book.
