Book Review Express 5 Star Review Corner brings you “The Only Man (+18) ” Book 2 in D Breeze’s The Other Man Series (Review Below)
There is nothing I can do.
The world keeps turning, the engines keep running, but I am stuck in a downward spiral with no one left to pull me out.
I’m an idiot, a liar, a disgrace and whatever else you want to call me. Go ahead. It’s nothing I haven’t told myself a thousand times over. You’re completely right.
It doesn’t change the outcome though and I have to live with that for the rest of my life. There is no light at the end of the tunnel for me, no chance at redemption. I don’t deserve it, but I still want to carve my little slice of happiness out from the mess I created.
I’m asking you to believe me.
I’m asking them to forgive me.
I’m asking him to save me.
But maybe I’m asking just a little too much.
JUST WOW… Well Done Ms. Breeze!
And Once again may I stress this series is unlike the normal M/M books out there. The first one (The Other Man) I thought was absolutely awesome. But this, goes beyond that. I laughed, cried, screamed and sighed as I read page after page. At times I wanted to Just reach in and shake Blake and Zach, other times I just wanted to hug and kiss away their pain.
What do you do when you have so much guilt that it ruins everything that’s good in your life. As that person’s soulmate how do you get through to them before they self-destruct or worse yet push you totally out of your life or the bottom falls out of everything?
We don’t do spoilers here at the review corner or I could write paragraph after paragraph on the events in this book. Instead I will simply tell you that this is a MUST READ (especially if you read book one) And if you haven’t read The Other Man.. OMG, you must get it, read it and then read The Only Man.
